Dakingsweb Update: See Throw-Back-Photos As Atiku Turns 71

Atiku became the Vice President under Olusegun Obasanjo on May 29, 1999 and was in office till 29 May 2007.Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar clocks 71-years-old on Saturday November 25, 2017, a day after he defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC).According to Dakingsweb News report, Atiku had joined the APC in 2014, and contested in the party's primaries in December of that year, but lost out to President Muhammadu Buhari. In his resignation letter on Friday, Atiku accused the APC of instituting a regime that promoted "a draconian clampdown on all forms of democracy within the party and the government it produced."He further referred to the party as a dying one owing to the absence of the youth in the government's federal cabinet, and on this note was choosing to leave "after due consultation with my God, my family, my supporters and the Nigerian people whom I meet in all walks of life".A twitter user on Saturday posted a combination of some pictures of Atiku as a young man and during his active days at the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
