Reality star, Kim Kardashian, has received a personal 'Thank You' note from a 62-year-old grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, who she is currently helping to regain her freedom from prison.Johnson, was sentenced to life in federal prison 20 years ago when she was given alengthy mandatory prison sentence for a first time, non-violent offence.The single mother was reportedly struggling to provide for her five children, before she fellin with a group involved with drug dealing.According to the 'Thank You' note, from Alice to Kim, obtained by TMZ, Alice was perplexed when she found out Kardashian had enlisted high-powered lawyer Shawn Holley to help with her case. In the letter, Alice wrote, "Ms. Kardashian you are literally helping to save my life andrestore me to my family. I was drowning and you have thrown me a life jacket and given me hope."Johnson also believes Kim's mission for clemency will be a defining moment in history, and will show she was a "key figure in meaningful criminal justice reform becoming a reality."Kim is also working with her lawyers in theeffort to free Cyntoia Brown, a Tennessee woman who killed a man who was allegedly using her as a sex slave when she was 16.Read the letter below..
