The Ghanaian/Danish humanitarian, who grew up in Nigeria, is the first West African to be given the honour. He shared the good news on IG and wrote
"You can never receive an higher honour than being appreciated & valued by the Country You are priviliged to call Home. I have been priviliged over the Years to work with many Government Departments on Humanitarian campaigns along my private initiatives to support less fortunate. Priviliged because it should be an honour to be able to serve the Government in causes that helps Africans & South Africans & I firmly believe the results are the reward. Yet today I was given the Highest reward possible; Being appointed Ambassador for Brand South Africa for my contribution to Society, The first West African to be bestowed such honour. I will be part of leading Brand SA' s 'Play Your Part' Campaign, driving the active citizenship movement in the community amongst other things.
As a proud Ghanaian who grew up in Nigeria which shaped me from an unruly Boy to a Productive Man, Im very grateful as a West African & a Humanitarian for this recognition & to those who have helped me get to where I am today.
