MOBO Awards: Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tekno on the List.

Nominations for the MOBO Awardshave just been revealed. This year, the ceremony will take place on November 4.On Wednesday, Sept 21, the announcement was made for the successful candidates for the 2016MOBO Awards. Grime, hip hop, gospel, jazz, reggae, R&B and soul, all the genres of black music composed by British artists are celebrated each year since 1996.The musicians who made the list this year are singerLaura Mvulaand rapper Kano who were both nominated for four prizes. Skepta, the big winner of the Mercury Prizeand this year grime sensation, will compete against Craig Davis, Tinie Tempah and Stormy for Best Male Act. Whereas on the ladies side, Lady Leshurr, Katy B, Little Simz and Nao face each other for the award of the Best Female Act.The Music Of Black Origin Awards also reward international artists. This year, new comers Kaytranada and Anderson .Paak will rub shoulder with big acts such as Drake, Beyoncé and Kanye West .Internet users are invited to vote for their favorite artiste on the award ceremony website,here.
