A top Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau has been expelled from the movie industry, Premium Times reports.The actress was expelled by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria for featuring a romantic musical video by a Jos bornsinger, ClassiQThe association in a statement by its secretary, Salisu Mohammed, on Sunday, October 2, further warned other actors and actresses to always abide by the rules and regulation guiding the participation in the industry.The appearance of Rahama in the music video had raised criticism and backlash especially from her fans who said she had derailed from the norm of her career.

Maryam Umar who is a fan of the actress had said after the release of the music video:“Rahama has crossed the boundary line this time around. The video is all revealing andthis is not proper for a Muslim girl to go this extreme in an open video.”“This is not America or Lagos. She should do everything she wanted to do but not to participate in such a video. I know her family will not be happy with her.”
